At Butlers we like to think that we bring a little happiness to the world through our chocolates and by means of our Cafés. So we thought, why not bring a little extra happiness to our loyal customers and reward them with a lifetime of happiness through our new Butlers Happiness Card!
How to Register
Simply send an email to happiness@butlerschocolates.com with your name, address, email and phone number and we will post a Butlers Happiness Card out to you. Once you receive your card, you can register online and you can start earning Butlers Happiness Points immediately.
How does the Butlers Happiness Card work?
You will earn 2 points for every €1.00 you spend in Butlers Chocolate Cafés on Butlers Chocolate products - for example, Butlers chocolate bars, Butlers chocolate assortments, Butlers Easter eggs, Butlers chocolate novelties, Butlers toffee and Butlers fudge (this excludes chocolate drinks, pastries and desserts) and 1 point for each €1.00 you spend in store on everything else (excluding gift cards).
You can also earn 1 point per €1.00 spent as you shop online at www.butlerschocolates.com. If you do not wish to have a physical card, or you live outside of Ireland or the UK, you can register for a virtual card to earn happiness points, which can be redeemed against future online chocolate purchases as you shop online.
Please note: You must present your card at the till before your transaction, as points cannot be added after the sale is completed. Your card will be immediately credited with the points earned from your transaction.
Why should I register my Butlers Happiness Card?
You should register your card to protect your points if your card is lost or stolen. Registering your card will also mean that you can stay up to date with current offers available in store or online.
What offers are available to me as a member?
With the Butlers Happiness card, you will automatically receive a Hot Beverage bonus. This means that for every 9 hot beverages that you buy in store, we will give you your tenth hot beverage free!
You will also collect Butlers Happiness points on all purchases in store and on-line. These points can be redeemed against future purchases.
Are there any products which I will not receive points on?
We will reward you for all purchases made in store, except those of gift cards.
How do I spend my points?
Once you pick up your Happiness Card, you can start earning Butlers Happiness points straight away. Each point earned is equivalent to 1 cent (1 Butlers Happiness point = 0.01c). Once you have earned your first 500 happiness points, these points will convert to a cash balance on your card, which you can use against future purchases in store or online.
Thereafter, each time you earn 100 points, these points will convert to a cash balance on your card. Butlers Happiness points, any cash balance or Hot Beverage Bonus cannot be redeemed in exchange for cash.
Happiness points are valid for a 12 month period only. All points that have been inactive for a 12 month period either on your Butlers Happiness card or those points that have been converted to a cash balance will expire and will be removed from your account.
If my card is lost or stolen, what do I do?
Just email us at happiness@butlerschocolates.com to request a new card, login to your online account using your email and password, then go to Happiness Card to update your account with your new card number.
Unfortunately, if you have not registered your Butlers Happiness card online, it is not possible for us to transfer your points.
How can I check my balance on my account?
Butlers Happiness Points will be added immediately after your transaction has been completed and your till receipt will show your current balance. You can also check your points online.
What if I have forgotten my card?
Unfortunately, points can only be added in store at the time of purchase. If you are shopping online at www.butlerschocolates.com and have registered your card or hold a virtual card, your balance will be credited automatically.
Why do we ask for some personal information?
The information is supplied for security purposes e.g. if the card is lost. This information is securely held and will not be provided to third parties.
What if I don't want to be contacted by the programme?
When you register your Butlers Happiness card, you will be asked how you want to be contacted. If this box is ignored, you will automatically receive information we feel is relevant to you. You can request to be removed from the contact list at any time by logging into your account and updating your Butlers Happiness account details.
Will any third party see my data?
Personal details that you supply during the application process will be held by Butlers Chocolates in the strictest confidence. No supplied information will be divulged to anyone or any organisation outside of Butlers Chocolates without your required permission.
