Rich Chocolate Dessert Sauce
A silky intense chocolate sauce that is the perfect match for pouring over ice-cream or as a side to delicious cakes and pastries:
Ingredients:
- 100ml milk (or 50ml cream, 50ml milk for a richer texture)
- 100g (1 bar) Butlers Organic 70% Dark Chocolate Bar
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
Method:
Break the chocolate into small prices and add to a bowl with the milk.
Heat the bowl gently over a pot of simmering water (do not allow to boil).
When the chocolate and milk have melted together, remove from the heat and add the sugar to get a nice smooth texture.
This can be used immediately – it will also keep in the fridge for a couple of days (keep in an airtight container).
