White Chocolate Dessert Sauce
A velvety chocolate sauce made from creamy white chocolate. Ideal for ice-cream. This is delicious poured warm over mixed frozen berries for a speedy, delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
- 100ml milk (or 50ml cream, 50ml milk for a richer texture)
- 192g (3 bars) Butlers 64g White Chocolate Bar
Optional Extras:
- 50ml Irish Cream
- Or 50ml Cointreau
Method:
Break the chocolate into small prices and add to a bowl with the milk.
Heat the bowl gently over a pot of simmering water (do not allow to boil).
When the chocolate and milk have melted together, remove from the heat. Add the Irish Cream or Cointreau if using to give the sauce another flavour and mix gently.
This can be used immediately – it will also keep in the fridge for a couple of days (keep in an airtight container).
