Dublin Airport Manager

We are seeking a Manager to join and lead a busy team in Butlers Chocolate Cafés in Dublin Airport.
This exciting opportunity has arisen as we are building a brand new flagship store in Terminal 1, which will quickly be followed by a new store in Terminal 2.  

Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations, the successful Airport Manager will drive standards through our stores with a hands-on approach and will be responsible for the operation of both units in Dublin Airport. 

The ideal candidate should be dynamic, hardworking and experienced in a fast paced environment with a passion for chocolate, coffee and people.  

 

Key Responsibilities/Duties

▪ Ensure exceptional customer service and coffee standards across both locations.

▪ Monitor and achieve sales targets working with the team on sales optimisation, margins, waste and other KPIs across your two stores.

▪ Proactively manage logistics & supply chain in a busy Airport Environment.

▪ Provide guidance, mentorship, support, and training to unit managers and internal teams, fostering a positive and motivated work environment that represents the company values and standards.

▪ Drive, audit and manage cafe standards across the three pillars of the business.

▪ Support cafés to ensure that the fresh food /coffee/ chocolates offerings represent best practice and the brand position.

▪ Ensure that your stores adhere to health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and employment law regulations.

▪ Maintain open lines of communication with senior management, report on performance metrics, and propose improvements.

▪ Share company initiatives in an engaging and inspiring environment.   Qualifications/Experienced & Skills Required  

▪ A passion for coffee, chocolate and people

▪ 5+ years’ experience at Management level within the hospitality sector

▪ A dynamic and flexible individual who adapts well to change and can thrive in a growing & evolving organisation

▪ Relevant third level qualification in Management, Training or Retail/Hospitality

▪ Excellent communication, time management, organisation skills

▪ Experience leading and motivating teams through change, including process improvement & development ▪ Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.

·        A flexible approach to working hours
·        Retail / Catering / Barista / Customer Service experience (though not essential)
